Announcing Think Vitamin Membership
Hey everyone, I’ve been mega busy at Future of Web Design London – its been an amazing show already with some really cool talks and everyone I’ve spoken too so far has nothing but really positive feedback!
One of the highlights of the show for me has been the unveiling of our new product which I’ve been teasing you with all of last week – so I can finally announce the launch of Think Vitamin Membership – check out the video below …
In essence, Think Vitamin Membership gives you access to
- Online conferences like our HTML5 and CSS3 events (normally $150 each)
- Large online video tutorial library (we add 16 new tutorials every month) on topics like CSS3, HTML5, jQuery, UX, web design business, PHP, Rails and more. We’ve hired two amazing people to do this full time and the videos are going to kick ass.
- Exclusive Q&A sessions with some of our industry’s leading talents. We’ll have folks like Kevin Rose, Gary Vaynerchuk, Jeff Veen and more. You’ll be able to login and ask them your questions over video chat.
- Massive discounts Future of Web Design and Future of Web Apps.
- ‘Video Tickets’ to both Future of Web Apps (Miami + London) and Future of Web Design (London + NYC). This includes videos of all the talks with slides edited in. These normally cost £95 for each event.
You get all this for less than a $1 a day.
All the Think Vitamin blog content and Think Vitamin Radio will, of course, remain free.
The product will go live on June 7th, give or take a few days – in the meantime, you can pre-register at membership.thinkvitamin.com. It really is going to be an awesome resource for you all!

I will have a look at that. It is a shame that you guys did not make an announcement about the delay on the “web design toolkit” I was expecting on the 15th of May.

Hey Nuno – sorry about that. We’ve been so manically busy with FOWD and this announcement that I let it slip. Not OK, and I apologize.

As discussed in the emails, I cannot wait to lay my hands on this. Being a student (will finally graduate in June this year) and in India, it is literally impossible to attend the conferences (even the online video shows) However, this being easier on the pocket due to smaller regular payments is great.
I cannot thank you how much I am grateful for this. I would also look forward to see the tutorials, though the Video Tickets to the 4 events is more than enough to keep me hooked. It would be better if the video also is a live feed during the event (and maybe edited later for posterity), so that we can at-least try to be part of the twitter discussion. Please see if this is possible.
As for Nick and partner it was pretty self explanatory the day he mentioned about the switch to Carsonified.
Cheers!

Congrats on the product. You’ve made a good choice in hiring Nick and Jim from :Done21. I love their Doctype podcast.
Look forward to signing up. I’m curious to know you’ll have access to previous conferences (like the 100things) or this will just include the new ones?
Keep up the good work!

Hey Yan – Thanks for the positivity :)
Past conferences won’t be included I’m afraid, but all future ones will be.

Congratulations on the new product launch! It certainly sounds like an excellent idea and a great addition to the Carsonified brand.
The video is really nicely produced too! Great stuff.

Holy toledo this is awesome. I’m definitely looking forward to being able to get access to the conferences, and I’m totally looking forward to seeing Nick & Jim in the tutorial videos(!Doctype rocks). That was a hell of a good decision bringing them on board. For a newbie developer like me this is an amazing resource.

I’m really looking forward to this. Could you share more about the pricing? Are we looking at .50 a day? .99 a day? Or is that still being decided?
Can’t wait!

Hey CraftyDevon – the cheapest plan is $0.83 a day. Yay!

So we are talking roughly here of $300 per year. Not bad, but it all comes down to content really. Considering you do the FOWA, FOWD and other shows, I would be guessing the content to be pretty decent.

Awesome Ryan,
That is quite good, and I look forward to seeing details on the various plans. Since I don’t get to travel to much, the conferences would be excellent.

Superb matey. I’m going to keep my eyes on this :)
Hopefully it works out as a great resource. You usually hit your mark and then some, so us folk in the industry should get a pretty decent deal out of it.

Looks great! Already trying to get my boss interested. Any discounts for signing up more than 1 user in the same organisation?

This looks great – and I’m excited to see it when it launches. But what is the launch date for the Web Designer’s Toolkit? I know it’s delayed but how far? Will those who purchased it get any type of discount or free trial for the Membership due to the delay?
Thanks again for all your great work!
