Nice Paul’s Nice Icons
Freelance user experience designer Paul Annett, formlerly of ClearLeft, has released a rather sweet set of social media icons which he describes as:
“…cleaner – simplified without all the bevels, gradients, and rounded corners”
For more on the inspiration behind the set and how the BBC News came to use them on their recent redesign read Paul’s article.

The BBC News link is returning a 404 for me.
You can read about the BBC redesign on their Editors blog here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/theeditors/bbc_news_website/

Hey Darren, thanks for the heads up. It appears a trailing slash creates a 404 for that URL. It’s just a habit of mine to add them at the end. Should work fine now.

I’ve seen blogs that have more than 10 social media related icons. Its ridiculous and funny at the same time.
