		<description>Simplicity in design is everything - one of the big reasons that you see these sites get traction is that people can use them out of the box.

Jakob Nielsen @ Useit.com has probably the ugliest site in the world but he&#039;s a world renowned expert on usability because, low and behold, the simple framing of his website makes for easy navigation and he teaches others how to cut through the crap, and standardize around user expectations.

Another good resource along the same lines is conversion voodoo&#039;s blog post that states the 5 key reasons that this stuff works
