Josh is a web developer and researcher for User Interface Engineering. An optimist and user advocate, Josh thinks the Web is the greatest tool ever invented. He writes his popular blog Bokardo about social web design and other user-centered topics including the Del.icio.us Lesson and his 3 Axioms for Success. He also does freelance design work for technology companies who need user-friendly interfaces.

While working at User Interface Engineering, a usability research company, Josh developed and contributes to the Brain Sparks blog along with Jared Spool and Christine Perfetti, his esteemed colleagues. They put on the famous User Interface Conference each year in Cambridge, MA. Josh also researches new strategies and technologies in order to help designers deal with the fast-changing Web and speaks at various industry events.

You can also find Josh at the ocean or in the park with his wife Alana and daughter Tessa, whose smiles remind him that the Web isn't everything.
