Hey there!
It’s Friday!(woo-hoo!), so this roundup is devoted to all things “awesome.” Basically, I’ve concocted a Happy Hour of links for you.
Some links are newsworthy, some retweeted across Twitter, and others just meet our “awesomeness” requirement, and regardless we hope you’ll enjoy them. Without further delay:
- 52 Profiles by the uber talented illustrator @kylesteed
- Google Chrome for iPad, a wish list, mockup, & more! (via Markus Schmeiduch or @smeidu)
- Beauty in limitations (via @drawar)
- A must-see “Big Web Show” with guest Liz Danzico (@bobulate), author of Bobulate, columnist for Interactions Magazine, former editor of Boxes and Arrows, former director of experience strategy for AIGA, former IA director at Barnes & Noble, and chairperson of the MFA in Interaction Design program at New York’s School of Visual Arts
- Rejoice! The benefits of slow design (via @boagworld)
Wildcard: The MTA releases a new subway map of NYC & the NY Times investigates “An Overhaul of an Underground Icon” - by far the best commentary however comes from Shorty Award/Listorious founder Greg Galant (@gregory) who tweeted: I applaud the MTA for widening Manhattan. I wonder where they got the dirt.
Please shoot me links to projects your working on or awesome things you’ve released! news@thinkvitamin.com
