12 October 2009 | Category: Uncategorized

Gary Vaynerchuk delivered this passionate and powerful speech at FOWA London 09 and it rocked the house. If you need a bit of inspiration (and a slight kick in the ass) don't miss this one. Warning: Strong language

Just announced: Gary will be speaking at FOWA Miami 2010. There are only three Super Early Bird passes left (save 29%). Hope to see you there!

Not only caring, but proving you care by doing the hard work to promote your product/service it and connect with your customers is key. Gary makes some F’n great points I just wish he could of done it with a few less F’ns. Still, thanks for the sharing.

too useful, thanks Gary for sharing this, you know business marketing is not that much difficult when master like you are among with us, the tips and tricks you share are awesome, anyone can apply them to their business and earn couple of bucks.

Makes some good points, but the quasi religious fervour turns me off.

The McDonald’s/Cable analogy is classic. I told a client that newspaper’s will be gone within 5-10 years and he stared out me like I just told him next year everyone will be driving flying cars. He looked up some news on his phone a few minutes later and said “Are you going to wait until tomorrow to get that thrown on your yard?”

PS: Gary your language on these is getting worse. You need to work harder. :)

It seems like Gary has taken over the world right now, everywhere I look he is there.

http://www.blisteringsuccess.com/gary-vaynerchuk-shocking-interview/ I just saw this one as well.

His passion is something xtra ordinary.

Really great talk! Lots of truth to the point he made.

Saying f*** every other word is just plain lazy though.

Gotta agree with you. Great stuff but I can’t help but think half of those “fucks” were for dramatic effect.

You have never been to New York, have you? :-D

Refreshing thoughts, but we really have to reconsider if using the F-word is the only way to demonstrate our passion towards something.

Any ideas for alternative words to demonstrate our passion?

    Fuck
    Shit
    Full of Shit
    Douchebags
    Fuckin’ Stupid
    Sucks shit
    Dick face
    Horse Shit
    Give-A-Fuck
    Shit Product
    Shit My Pants
    Sucks Shit
    Robert Fucking Parish

    Did I miss anything?

I’ll give him a pass on ‘how fucked cable television is’ – but Gary needs to learn that passion does not equal swearing. Take a lesson from the guys at 37signals. They swear once in a while, but rarely, and when they do, it only accentuates their point.

Bad language does not equal passion, passion equals passion

With 80,000 viewers a day at Wine Library TV, I guess he doesn’t need to worry about stepping on anyone’s toes.

I agree he swears a little too much for my liking but that’s just Garys nature. His commitment and passion for what he does is admirable and has swayed me to buy his book.
    A great talk.

    Was a brilliant talk.

‘This is not the great depression!! You just don’t have a 52″ screen, you have a 44″ screen’ – This must be an American thing because every day is a f*cking hustle for me and all the other twenty-something’s I know.

Long live Gary – he f*cking knows his shit in 2009 and it’s how IT SHOULD BE.

I loved this video, thanks for sharing.

    Awesome f**king shit!

America, FUCK YEAH! Reminds me of the Cluetrain Manifesto Cult from the later 1990′s…

    Good obversations Gary.

Just sold my TV, converted by MythTV box into an Ubuntu JJ w/Boxee. THEN I watched his comments at around 4 mins. Cable IS screwed…very interesting talk.

Wooh. That is a kick in the a** right where it hurts the most. Awesome!!

Yeah, agree about the four letter words. It’s not because I’m female and old enough to be your granny either Gary! It’s because I feel somewhat patronised. Is this the only language you feel we’ll understand?

You’re inspirational and there’s a truly powerful message buried in your address – but I’d love to see a transcript of it and how much is actually left once the F word and other related expletives are removed, lol! Must buy the book!
